ALTATEC GmbH is a German SME that develops innovative green-tech solutions for the bioeconomy. Based in Leipzig, our goal is to develop sustainable processes for converting biological resources and wastes into various value-added, marketable products.Womit beschäftigt sich Ihre Einrichtung / Organisation? We design and operate technologies that reinforce circular economy models and foster decarbonization. Our activity covers everything in the value chain: processing biomass and a variety of waste materials to produce substrates with reduced environmental impact, insulation materials, plant-based extracts, and biologically produced chemicals through our own R&D and industrial know-how.Our technological capabilities also include advanced separation processes, such as liquid-liquid separation and liquid-solid separation, for efficient handling and refinement of complex biomass streams.
The core of our operations is the 2,000 m² Scale-Up & Valorization Technikum. The facility allows us to test, refine, and scale sustainable technologies under real industrial conditions. We simulate production processes, analyze throughput and cost efficiency, and prepare technologies for large-scale deployment.
In addition to development, we operate complete process systems. We offer technological solutions, equipment, and qualified personnel—under contract or in collaborative partnerships.
